If your head unit has a working WiFi connection, you can try the official OTA process that many K2001N variants support.
Use a reliable USB drive (8GB to 32GB). Format it to FAT32 on your computer. Android head units usually cannot read NTFS or exFAT formats.
Many vendors modify the "About Device" screen to show "Android 10" or "Android 12" even though the hardware is running Android 7.1. If you see a mismatch (e.g., the settings say Android 12 but the AppVer starts with K2001N ), your unit is running Android 7.1 (Nougat) .
